Luke Brabazon is a Dublin-based documentary videographer and photographer interested in how art can be used to bring communities together.
Luke graduated from the National Film School at IADT in 2018. His graduate film 'The Last Miner' went on to premiere at the Galway Film Fleadh and win Best Student Short Film at Manchester International Film Festival and the Emerging Directors Awards 2019 in Dublin. It was also shortlisted for the best student film award at Richard Harris IFF, RTS Awards, and Fastnet Film Festival.
He worked with the Emmy-award winning ‘Crossing the Line Productions’ until Covid. In 2022 he directed “The People There To Catch Us”, a Science On Screen funded TV half-hour documentary broadcast on RTE following scientists and former patients who are now working together to create new cancer treatments.
In 2024 he completed a masters in Art and Research Collaboration, where he explored possibilities around activating a cottage in Westmeath to create a collaborative arts space.
In 2025 he’s looking to return to freelance work full-time documenting arts and community projects through video and photo.
